Yamazaki Mazak is announcing a major upgrading of the Oguchi plant in Japan which will feature unmanned operation systems incorporating advanced robotic technology with 5-axis and multi-tasking machine tools equipped with the new MAZATROL SmoothX CNC system. The machines will be closely monitoring by new factory management software that uses MT Connect - which will be its first installation in Japan.
