Mazak’s FF-5000/40 has won the Main Prize at the “One of the Best 10 Products in Japan in 2016” Awards, held by Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun Ltd.
The “One of the Best 10 Products in Japan” Awards are awarded by Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun Ltd. to products that are useful in advancing industrial development and strengthening Japan’s international competitiveness, chosen from among products developed and implemented each year by applicant companies. 67 products by 64 companies were submitted for the most recent competition, which was the 59th in its history.
The FF-5000/40 is a horizontal machining center designed for the large volume production of automotive components which has a compact floor space requirement by locating the tool magazine on top of the machine. For higher productivity, it has the fastest spindle and X-, Y-and Z-axes acceleration / deceleration for this machining center class.
